I went to my local fridge and took a bite of cheese, and it tasted great.

Because it is fat and salt. The best combo.

Because God loves us and wants us to enjoy the necessary task of eating. 
But seriously, I find that when I really like a certain food, it usually means I have a vitamin or mineral deficiency. There's something in cheese which helps brain function, and if you lack it, you'll crave cheese. I can't remember what it's called... Clearly, I need more cheese.
