erhm??
well, i'm glad to see you so happy to see me a "new face in the AGI part", but i'm afraid this is somehow a mistake ... Actually, i recently asked DF if we could have Brendan as moderator in the OS sections, and it seems he's been promoting all the moderators of OS section to "global moderators" ... i'm not sure this was intended (i guess he'd have told me about it in his PM, if it was).
And, no, i don't feel attracted by AGI/sarien more than before ... i'd be more a SCUMM (SCripting Utilities for Maniac Mansion) guy, actually

You can make that four, of which 3 from moderator to global moderator and one from member to global moderator (Brendan). I'm not going to fish in the AGI/SGI/Sierra bits of the forum, especially since I'm uncapable of judging anything there except for blatant spam.

Ok, that'll still be Chris and Nick's area then ;D Actually, haven't seen Nick 'round for ages. Anybody know if he's still as busy as he was a couple of years ago?

well it was just easier to make global mods
i dont expect or ask anyone to do anything 'extra'. forum maintenance is pretty minimal.
maybe less once it moves...

Yeah I am the only one left as far as AGI goes. Actually same for SCI... Brian isn't really around anymore either.

Good that I'm not in this moderator business.
It'd cut me short of nerves.
Besides, I too am rather on the SCUMM side (having played Monkey Island & Maniac Mansion on c64 sooo often in cold winters nights ... *aaaahhhnostalgia*)

I'm not at all nervous about being global mod
. I'm more nervous about going to the US in 4 days for an embedded system that's to be used with the Superbowl, or about my job + doing a full-time masters study beside it, or blowing up electronics that I'm messing with in my free time, or about design decisions for larger projects (such as an OS). Modding is a way to relax.

@candy: I like relaxing in the kitchen or whilst doing some osdeving. I don't have the patience one needs to show if being a forum moderator. I like setting down a foot on a subject and say nay in as harsh words as is to my liking. (& seeing some mod cut away the very interresting words *gg*)
@solar: Ohoooo ... watchout ... qui custodiet ipsos custodes, eh?

depens on the section, and on the mods' availability.

An even better question is how many mods does it take to screw in a lightbulb? ;D
