What player are you using to play video files in linux.
I am currently using mplayer. But the gui for mplayer (kplayer) is flickering. Is there any cool players like windows media player for linux.

You may think WMP is cool, but it isn't actually that good at all. On Windows currently I'm using VLC and it has so many extra features, and works so much better in general, that I can't bring myself to use media player anymore (on the rare occasion it'll even play the video properly). The only thing I miss is that the seek bar is nicer in WMP (in how it works, I don't really care how it looks :P ).

Off-topic I know, but just a note for anyone who might be looking for an alternate player under windows :)

Not able to install VLC in RedHat 9. They say don't have support for RedHat any more, VLC supports Fedora Core Only. However i managed to download binary version of VLC which seems to support RH also. But depedencies are not met.
