Jack Thompson, anti-computer-game lobbyist, proposed a bounty of $10k to anyone who would, in 2006, publish a computer game that includes extreme violence against computer game publishers. His reasoning is that violent computer games motivate people to copy the acts depicted in the game in real life, and that game publishers would be too afraid to create a game that would make themselves targets.

He already withdraw his offer and said "it was only a joke". I think this guy should be shown the binary four and get a life.

A pal of mine once called his home phone number (it's available on his website) using a cellular phone at college. He'd heard me ranting about this a$$hole earlier in the day and thought he'd surprise me. So I take the phone, hear "What do you want, moron? Screw you, buddy... <click>"
