you should get a website so you can post code and releases
if you have knowledge of cvs and ssh then i would rccommend using sourceforge.net as a host(if your os is opensource)
whats bad about sourceforge:
1. there documents seem to not be too helpful. thye go over the rough details but miss some of the things beginners dont know about
2.there support is only 5 days a week, 9-5
i have just got a sourceforge account for one of my projects and just now figured out how to put source in the cvs, still cant figure out anything else besides the basics(not including ftp)

blackcatcoder, I looked on your site. I saw no source, and most of the download links were dead.
