People Online and MORE numbers! (about the Forum)

Hi.
I think it would be great and useable revolution to this forum if you added the ability to see the people online from any forum, not just from the homepage!
And I think you should REALLY give the member or the guest the possibility to see any page of the forum by a single click!
Not like:
1 2 3 ... 147
But:
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 ...and so on until... 140 141 142 143 144 145 146 147
Now if I want to see a random page, I have to browse through the numbers and guess how many people is going to do that; not me!
You should do something about this
I think it wouldn't take much work!

Well listing all the numbers up to 147+X (where X is the number of pages accumulating in the present and future) takes too much space, but why not have a text box for jumping to a desired page?

If your tech savvy enough the second thing shouldn't be a problem:

This URL is for the second page of the "General, Off-Topic and Everything-Else(tm)" forum, just change "board=2" and "start=30" and you can jump wherever you want (Increment "start" by lots of 30, 0=page1 30=page2 60=page3).

It is doable... but is a useless feature to see on every section. Not only that but implimenting something like that would end up making the board slower since it would require more queries and more content to be sent to the browser per page. So it's not the best thing to do for optimization reasons.

Actually that's possible right now, it's an option in the admin center. But I am not going to change it since there are way too many pages and it would screw up the display of the boards, topics, and posts as well as take longer for pages on the board to load since more content would have to be sent. So that's a no for this one as well. You can do what AR said to jump around the pages with ease, but it's not going to get any easier than that.
