Windows Remote Desktop Sharing

I have a Windows 2000 server machine. I want to administer it remotely from my machine.
I tried running a VNC server there but it does not allow connections when the sys is locked.
I know there is a Remote Desktop util in Windows, does anyone know how to set it up for a Win 2K server?

Win2k server comes with Terminal Services. To install it, goto add/remove program and window components. Check the Terminal Services. When installing it select Admin mode. This gives you two free connection licenses to use. Then you can us TSC or if XP remote connection.

One of my friends has a windows 2000 machine on which that "Terminal Services" is not present in the Add/Remove Windows Components.
Is this some other installation of Windows 2000?
Or is it possible that his machine is a client installation of Win2000 (is there anything like that?)

All of the 2k servers came with Terminal Services. So perhaps it is a client install. Go to Start\Programs\Administrative tools and find Manage your Server. It should be there. If not, then its not a 2k server version.,

Ok i think its a client install.
Is it possible to get the remote desktop viewer (client) from someplace at least?

That's the RDP Client program (the same one that comes with XP)
