i am having mercury mother board with intel chipset. my on board video RAM is 32MB. my doubt is that will my board have a integrated video memory or it will take 32MB from my Physical RAM

It will most likely just steal 32MB of the RAM, video chipsets usually do that.

I don't know what you mean by "external" but Video cards have their own onboard memory.

I think he means a card for either PCI or an AGP slot (or an ISA slot, but that will never go up to a whooping 32Mb)
These cards have at least 64Mb of Ram (or VRam, to specify it's Video Ram) nowadays, and're built in on the cards. They're the black blocks you see soldered onto them, more or less like on a comp's main Ram, only a bit bigger
