hi friends,
i've got a http server up and running on a linux-based laptop and another windows-box staying on so eMule works. However if I only had a reasonable substitute which worked well under Linux, I would be able to turn off the big computer.. that's power conservation :)

I don't have much time atm to look for p2p-under-linux, but I had bad experience with programs which never successfully connected to a network?

Cheers ;)
Adrian.

Gnutella, Bearshare, Muttella, Nicotine... I think most P2P clients have a unix version.
