Edit: removed detailed whining, only things you need to know now are that my motherboard burned with some other components, I bought new ones, and had trouble with activating Windows...

But why don?t u call Microsoft support? If u change things inside the computer u should still be able to use the same XP cd.
Or you could use a cr*cked.. (hrrmm...)
(after all; u still own a registered copy, so what...)

OT: i hate the word grandmother; u can?t tell if it?s your mother or fathers mother.. in swedish we have one word for your mothers mother (mormor) or for your fathers mother (farmor). much better.
