2 things.
Sierra, and Al Lowe should be involved. Al Lowe is the creator. WHAT ARE THEY THINKING! He was the one that gave us all the laughs. The jokes in this one just wont be the same.

Still, I will buy it if I can. Its still a Leisure Suit Larry game, so why not. I just think it should have been made by Al Lowe and Sierra.

I agree, Al Lowe should be involved... Jokes just won't be the same without him.

Check out Al's site He is involved, but probably just so that Sierra'll be able to put his name on the box. Smells like another KQ8 to me.

A new leisure suite Larry game without Larry is more like a new Space Quest game without Roger Wilco.


I think Sierra is going to ruin its adventure games.

Yeah, but don't forget, it's not the same Sierra that released the original games. It's part of Vivendi now, and Vivendi is killing Sierra's rep.

Come on guys! It's not Sierra's fault that there aren't too many adventure games being commercially developed, it's because the genre generally doesn't sell as well anymore, and companies can't be putting millions of dollars into a project that will likely make a tenth the profit as another project with the same investment.

I myself am just happy to see they are making another adventure game!

The reason it's not the 40+ year old Larry is simply because they want to try to appeal to a larger audience, which in turn would make more profit. There's nothing wrong with them making more profit, because the more they make, the more chance of a Leisure Suit Larry 9, or even a new Space Quest!

You can't blame huge companies like Vivendi for not putting down a couple million dollars on a game that just a small community of loyal fans wants. They need to put down their cash on something that will have streets filled with fans waiting for it's release. Thousands of fans isn't enough, they need half a million, minimum!

considering some of us still play/make old agi games certainly shows the bar isn't very high. I don't think we'd need a million dollar game for us to play it.
