Conrad Sheldon Lives (Contest Inside)

Let me bring everyone up to speed. Conrad Sheldon was an Internet hoax that began back in March. Over the course of a month or so meelWORM and myself played the role of Conrad Sheldon in the community. Mainly on Chris' AGI Message Board. Conrad Sheldon was a phonetic speller. He always typed words incorrectly. It was as if he was just sounding them out. Conrad Sheldon even designed his own Sierra fan site. It was horrible as you can imagine. There were even threads started about him here at the Mega-Tokyo (local mirror), The Subspace Channel (local mirror), and Tierra Entertainment (local mirror) message boards. Anyway, a lot of stuff happened in the course of that month. Along with some stuff that's probably best to be forgotten. It eventually ended with a tombstone of Conrad Sheldon being posted for all to see. On the tombstone was a poem that implicated everyone involved in the hoax. Thus exposing that Conrad Sheldon was fake all along.

Now Conrad Sheldon has made a comeback in more ways than one. First of all, he recently debuted on Good Old Adventures. Mr. Phonetic himself is now a playable character. For those of you that have always wanted to be Conrad Sheldon, now you can. Just don't start a new hoax or anything like that. Secondly, the Conart Contest has begun. Everyone who enters has a chance to win. The winner will be privileged enough to join in on The Big Con (a game being developed with AGI Studio) development process, and all future Conrad projects. Only one person will win the contest though. So, make your entry a good one.

However, that's not all. Much more is planned for the Conrad Sheldon character in the near future. The "giue" you all thought was dead is far from his grave. Although, he's no longer a mischievous hoax lurking about the Internet. The character has now moved on to bigger and better things. The Big Con is progressing slowly but surely, a set of VGA Conrad Sheldon cells are planned for after Brian Provinciano releases SCI Studio VGA, and a new Conrad Sheldon program is in the works. Be ready for a few more surprises down the road as well. Did anybody know Conrad had a cousin? Also, we recently made contact with the real Conrad Sheldon. The ham radio guy some of you may recall hearing about. I believe it was Martin Kool who originally found out about him.

Yes the progress is slow going on The Big Con, but let's hope it will not stay this slow. Because we have got a release date too. Let's just hope there will be some inspiration that will make the game progressing faster.
