How do I log on now?

I just created my password on Windows XP Home Edition a few days ago. I thought I had it set up for the quick login, not the old fashioned one. I had my password in the help thing just until I memorized it. Well, I wasn't in the quick login, I was in the old fashioned one. How would I recover my password? I only have one account and I don't have the guest account running. So what do I do?

Or you could look for a password recovery tool. there is existing one for win NT, win 2000 - it might prove useful with win XP too. It is a little linux distro, fitting on a disk which can read/write windows registry files - the important ones, if you understand what I mean.
the thing is quite famous in networkers/sysadmins realms for it eases life endlessly.
hope it helps.

It's pretty funny, especially when you consider that with utilities and super administrator passwords, then the password protection on a Windows Box means absolutely... nothing, nada, zip, zero, zilch.
