Recently there has been talk about Sierra making Larry 8 (go to
www.allowe.com and
www.sierragamers.com msg boards). Apparently Sierra might make Larry 8 but Al Lowe will not be involved. If you can spare a minute, please go to this site and sign the petition. It was started to tell Sierra that we want Al back in Larry. this was taken from Al's site.

Neither. Larry 8 should be in 3D like King's Quest 8.

The general forum is the right forum for this topic.
Who knows? With little chance, LSL 8 will be in AGI.
2003 is the AGI's 20th anniversary. King's Quest is released in 1983.

You mean the 3d looking one? That was made around '98 i think. If thats the same one then it was cancelled long ago when all the cool people were fired.

Yeah, I mean that one, but if it's going to be something similar to that (I thought that looked pretty decent and they wouldn't have to spend so much money on new technologies again if they just use the technology from 5 years ago), then I think the game should lok good (at least graphicswise).

I think LSL in 3D would be fantastic! I love the classic adventures, but with a 3D world, we could do more of what true adventure gamers enjoy--explore!
The main problem is that Sierra was worried they couldn't do another Larry game because it might not draw the cash flow of crap like half-life. Well, they'll prove that to be true if they don't get Al Lowe working on it! Without Al, it WON'T draw the cash flow! Larry needs Al!

This means we should stop LSL4 unless Al wants to join (which he doesn't, since he says we should make something of our own) ???
