I loved Indiana Jones:Fate of Atlantis
There was an adventure game worth remembering. I spent hours in front of that game.

English translation of df's post: ;D
SCUMMVM is an interpreter for SCUMM, like NAGI is an interpreter for AGI. Currently it doesn't support SCUMM v1 or v2 games. Now, df is going to make it possible...
I personally am very interested to see how it goes, because I have digged around the code of SCUMM...

Well ...
as concerns zak mccracken and maniac mansion ... I ve been very sorprised to find the fuel for the motor saw in maniac mansion in that bedamned game zak mccracken *rofl* the developers found this a good joke instead i wanted to shoot them to hell for having me search this cursed fuel in the whole house for ab't two hours before i gave up *sh*t*. What I swore, I can't tell.
But it is interesting to see all these old games coming up again and again ... they are cool *gg*

the riddles they've built in this game are genious. I've been sitting if not hours what then? in front of the "brotkasten" (a name for ancient c64 box - I still own one) playing zak mac cracken and maniac mansion 1 (ouch ... this motor saw) It'z just one of the best games outta there. 'd like to play it once again just to get this feeling of buzz.

Breadboxes... ;D And when talking about playing the games again, then I'd say you don't want to know how many times I've made Indiana Jones 3 through...

The Indiana Jones games are the biggest SCUMM games I've ever seen. In Fate of Atlantis for example, there's about 2 or 3 solutions for a lot of the puzzles in the game, not to mention the three different paths in the Monte Carlo and Algiers part of the game.

Well I can understand about sam & max, full throttle and day of the tentacle, because they have more cinematics than actual puzzles, so they may not be as challenging as the other games. For the first few indiana jones, if you saw the movies, you pretty much knew what to do. I'm not too crazy about the fighting sequences, either. Loom is way too short. There should have been more drafts in it.
But if you're a fan of sam & max(the cartoon and comics, which I am) and of maniac mansion, you may appreciate DOTT and S&MHTR more.
