just got myself a laptop, so now I can turf my desktop.

its a PITA tho moving all my crap over to the laptop. sigh. all apps should have a single 'export' function that would export all data, config options, settings and other bits.

most stuff is recovered and setup. not much left. damn this machine is so sweet!

2.40b C1 stepping pentium 4 (desktop) at 533 bus
512mb ram
radeon 9000 64mb mobile
2 usb 2.0 ports
firewire (4 pin only grrrr)
cdrw/dvd combo
15 inch xga (next size up was non standard resoultion so i didnt go that model).

mm suhweeeet.. my old desktop is only a duron 700!

Well that's a new one. For a minute there I thought df capitalized the spelling for greek flatbread.

My laptop's only a Pentium with 133Mhz and a screen that can be pulled off (which breaks the computer ::) ) That's all I need. Dunno why everybody needs the strongest of the strongest computer.

sweet the 2650 is nice. i ordered a dell inspiron 8200... but they fucked around with my visa so i canned it and got the fujitsu model. no regrets!

finally got it all tooled up. have not touched my desktop box all day...
