Geez it's lonely. There are no new posts and I think that if nothing is done soon, this board will be tossed into the flames.

The OS dev board is doing good ( except for the silly hate ms thread )

This board will never be tossed in the "flames", because it is needed or people will talk about their strange stuff in the other forums....

I've noticed that not that many new topics have a long life span on this board...at least in the general discussions section; but a lot of people still direct their attention to the programming related sections. In my opinion, there still seems to be some issues on worrying about wasting space for saying something that isn't really constructive or moves the thread along significantly. Message boards are only a step away from memos who are a step away from telegrams and letters after all. I'd bet there's be more to see in a chat room.

@CESS: is that supposed to be a tumbleweed? At first I thought it was a meterorite or an albino coconut.

Well... I waited a while before I voted What? Where? Who? to see the response. It's just that a couple of months ago this board was so active, and now it seems to have slowed down.

You just scared the s*** out of me Allyb...i thought that jonnings had come back from the grave...and then i read your name ;D

I dunno...if you look at the board stats...it kinda has slowed down than it used to be...but it is definantally not dead.

It sure has slowed down compared to the summer. It's really slow now.

Smartguy that was a dumb idea, as if 1 chat isn't enough for the AGI community. Plus I will get less members because some will go to your or some will stay with me, ultimately reducing the ammount of people overall chatting for both of us. Plus the fact that I don't want to have to go to 2 different chats to find people to talk to.

Ill take the AGI part out of the chat room... Your chat room serves different purposes than mine does...i use mine when IRC is down and MSNIM is down to talk to support members about things like Luinx that i have no clue about...

hey ive had a chat room for a while at my site. while chris is fixing his you could use it. i had mine before smartguy i think.

the board probably died because me and smartguy arent spamming or posting unnessesarrily anymore. ;D

oh and about my chat room. i think kon tiki said it took a while for the applet to load, but im not sure. i have a cable modem. it takes like 20 seconds for it to load. feel free to use my chat room while chris is working on his. go to my site and on the left it will say chat room. just in case anyone for got my site, it http://joekool224.tripod.com its also at the bottom of this post! ;D

What do you mean fixing it, the chat is up and working. The only difference is that now it has a different color because I havn't customized it. The chat works perfectly just like it used to before the crash.
