You thought this would be a joke, but it isn't. I'd propose the same rules as with the other two guess-that-games.
OK, here's an easy one: Turrican.exe ;D

What game was that? Hint: It's from the 80s and it had a nasty copy-protection ;D

Nope. It's from the 80s but Doom had a very decent copy protection. The game the file is from lets you enter words from the manual. And it's a strategy game.

Doom didn't have any copy protection as far as I know.. is that what you mean by "decent" ?

In some countrys, DOOM required some sort of activation key to work.
