Mac PPC 7100 Ethernet Problem

Does anyone have a Mac Power PC 7100 or something similar? A friend of mine gave me one as a gift a while ago, as well as a special dongel cord that connects to a port labelled <...> on the back that allows me to hook up a standard Ethernet cable. Now that I have my router in effect, I'm trying to hook up my Mac to the network.
Run down, I'm doing DHCP serving.
The DHCP software and the router recognize the Mac.
The Mac does not recognize the connection.
HELP!!!

Uh, no. The PPC 7100 is probably as old as you are
Besides, it turned out not to be my Mac at all, but the crippled ***** known as MSIE. I'm using Netscape Communicator instead and having no trouble whatsoever.
However, if anyone knows of a faster browser for Mac than NC 4.79 (haha) that takes up very little space, let me know. Like, perhaps, a Classic Mac version of Mozilla that's been stripped down. I don't know.

And yet you implied it ?!?!?!?! <---- This indicates my apparent astonishment
BTW: Why even respond on a thread if you're not going to be helpful?
THIS THREAD IS GOING TO BE LOCKED.
