SerpentOS Opening - Looking for Team!
Posted: Mon Oct 10, 2005 11:00 pm
I'm looking for a few good.. programmers. I'm only one person, and to create a good OS, I know it'd be quite beneficial to have a team behind me. ^-^
The goal of the OS is to create an environment that is totally portable. I want to have an OS that can pretty much be taken with someone everywhere and handle just about everything that they want to do. This is the general idea. The specific goal of the OS is to achieve DirectX compatibility in order to be able to play Windows games, ecspecially those created in Gamemaker. If anyone has additional goals that they'd like met, and they're experienced in any of the areas below, join up and we can work together to meet all our goals in one or more OSs stemming from one base ^-^
I need a few people experienced in any of the following languages/sublanguages:
-ASM
-C
-C++
-Python (If you are know how to run Python code independant of the interpreter and OS)
-Any other languages similar to these in nature, I'm not too familiar with EVERY language, after all, so I may have missed a few that could be useful >.<
This project will have a site at www.serpentos.tk/www.devportal.tk when it gets up and running. Any contributions (code pieces, ASM drivers, bootloaders, or whatever else ^-^) are appreciated greatly. Thanks!
