I did an AI module as part of my degree course. Search algorithms, modal logic, and programming in Prolog.

@Tim: What degree was it (just interessed)? I don't know much about university/college. Also, what do you think of the idea of OS's and AI merging? Mmm maybe I should post that in the osdev forum :-\

I've never done anything to do with AI, but I just read an article in the Post Dispatch (STL's newspaper) about a local man that experiments with setting up neural networks and then poking them to make creative thoughts (this neural network is actually able to invent new things). I won't say anymore for fear that I'd ruin the article, but I'll try and find a link to it...
This seems like a good place to merge OS and AI.

Is this similar to the idea that if there were enough monkies at keyboards they could recreate Shakespeare. just going quicker?
