Looks like I am leaving my position as tester for bios. I had only legacy bios experience back when assembler used. Now new job is looking even distant from bios. I am looking to get some uefi bios development side activity and wondering what UEFI bios kits are available to get up and running/building in few minutes.

I know that I am a few years late but,
for this exact purpose I developed the following projects that allows you easily, to compile an UEFI app.
also it contains some basic explanation about UEFI's build system and contains links for further learning!
