where are some good tutorials for assembly using the at&t santax so i can use it in dev-c++?

There aren't many I'm afraid. AT&T syntax is strangely unpopular. (I prefer it myself though.)

http://mars.wiwi.uni-halle.de/asm/resources.html might help a bit (check the "GAS" tutorials).
