Hey guys,
I remember someone inquiring about this same thing not long ago, however I don't intend on spying on someone.
I recently met someone on the net that new little about computer, and it's taken me hours to get him to a particular point. Where can I download a program that will allow me to control his computer and download and setup a program on his computer - with his permission of course? Any help appreciated.

There is a free one for all platforms called VNC. It comes with most linux distributions and there are versions for Windows, CE and probably even your cell phone.

If you're using Windows XP, you can use the built-in Remote Assistance applet.

AFAIK, not necessarily. It's built on Terminal Services, so only the server needs XP. I could be wrong, though.
