OS Site hosting

All off topic discussions go here. Everything from the funny thing your cat did to your favorite tv shows. Non-programming computer questions are ok too.

OS Site hosting

Post by ucosty »

I have decided to give free hosting to OS projects. Basically you'll get as much space as you need. The only requirement is that you use it for os development related projects only.

How to get it:
Post me a PM on the subject. Tell me about your os (I don't need too much, just a little to make sure your serious). You'll also need to give me a username, password and subdomain preference. I'll reply as soon as I can with your final username.

Additionally for any extra SVN user/passes you want, just specify them in the PM and I'll accomodate your request.

What you'll get:
- FTP access
- SVN repository
- PHP + MySQL

What else do you get
This parts a little more fluid and hasen't been finalised. I am thinking (if there is enough support) to set up a forum for the cgrid developer network. Your site (being a part of this network) will get it's own forum section with you (and anyone you elect) moderators.

Why am I doing this?
Not really sure myself.
