Hi,

Don't we all just hate that one sloggish IDE which makes us wish we were dead before we do some development?

Introducing to you an all new IDE, Wódscipe (old english for insanity). The IDE promises fast startup times, good language support, and a ed-like editor.

The current list of languages supported are:
  • Brainfuck.
  • Deadfish.
  • ResPlicate.
  • ///.
  • Underload.
Check out the GitHub repository, and the official announcement.

Happy hacking!
Shikhin (and Juhani)

Oh fantastic. Now I have to learn Brainfuck *and* ed. Fun! Do you have any techniques now that I can't afford to make a coffee run while my computer boots?

Yo:

Pre-ordered my copy just today! I bought a computer just for this -- I can't wait to be a part of the next generation of productive development. Wodscipe offers a workflow that is quite frankly...insane!

Guess it's time to leave Notepad++...... :P
Anyways looks Cool, Maybe we could make a collection of all your 512-byte
programs and put them in some museum. :)
EDIT: Tested it out, why did I bother to download Visual Studio bloat when there's already something like this.
And yeah I heard "light" crying because it isn't the fastest object now......
EDIT:
I have successfully built the IDE with Windows, all you need is Cygwin, dd and GNU Make in your path directory :)

Unfortunately, we've just targetted the IDE, as of now. The normal desktop environment still lets you give your coffee the proper respect it deserves (although, a certain Trianglix has made some breakthroughs).
