i am in my first year were should start when approaching the code for minix i have i heard it was the smallest so i tried it whats a good system of approach to capitalize on the code which me saying, what portions of the OS should i analyze first, if minix not your thing what do you use? pls email me or repost, later

Have you read Tanenbaum's Operating Systems: Design and Implementation? That's where I would start a study of Minix.
