Bochs works differently on floopy and disk options

Post by littlestewie »

I have a binary file which prints the keys pressed on the screen. It works well when i use the floopy option in bochs, but when i try to use this binary file as an bootable HDD in bochs , it doesn't work,at log it says it is still in real mode although it must be in the protected mode.

What may be wrong with it?

How much heads, cylinders and sectors does your harddisk have? How much for a floppy?
