I am wondering I have read thru these books and can pass all the tests / questions in these books
http://www.amazon.com/Life-Health-Insur ... 193&sr=1-1

http://www.amazon.com/Property-Casualty ... 193&sr=1-2

I have always wanted to sell , handle insurance stuff....
I am wondering how much more knowledge / certification exams must I get to work for an insurance agency like
liberty mutual , or other types of insurance companies?

Maybe someday my dream was to open up an insurance agency for health , property , life , and causality that would be all the major things you can insure.

I am pretty good at marketing / selling and I have passed the CPA exam and know alot of finance though havn't passed the CFA yet.

Does anybody know if these books are missing anything if I wanted to get certified for being able to sell/work for insurance agency stuff.

I don't know what insurance certification would be the hardest to pass / hold the most weight in job interviewing for a position at an insurance agency.

Anybody know of what test /certification I should take for the best results in jobs and ability to move around in insurance.

Thanks for any help

I think I see the problem, you need to identity map the proper areas before you switch to the new page directory. Also, on line 3, page size should be 0x1000, not 1000. I hope that fixes it.

Also, it depends on how your kernel is designed. If you want to use modules, go ahead. I think they make things cleaner because you can choose what to load and when, so the kernel is smaller in the end and you don't waste time and space. But then again, you need to implement them all as modules and write a module loader.

As for your problem with the TSS, I'd suggest reading the Intel Manuals.

Well, to be honest, there are some things in the intel manuals that could be better explained. But for the most part, they're pretty complete.

p.s. May I suggest research and posts on sites that are actually dedicated to this kind of stuff?

I don't know what country you're in, but surely a careers advice service would be far better than asking on OSDev.org? Also, if you have "passed the CPA exam and know a lot of finance" that includes knowing how the financial services sector works in your country and what examinations you need to sit (and what in-service training you need - there's bound to be some...) in order to sell insurance.

Cheers,
