Hi! im iON and im glad i found this site.
i want to thank the creator as this looks like it will be ver helpfull.
i use bochs and nasm(tell me if there is a better way).
right now my goals for
ION-OS are:
[:)]have the name
ION-OS
[:)]write something to the screen
[:(]load other files on the disk for features
[:(]draw shapes.
for some reason i can never load other files on the drive.it always causes boch's virtul CPU to fail or claims the file was not found.i also can't combine it into one file either.
thank you for reading! if you want i will post screen shots of each good build(some work, some fail)
have a good day!

If you intended to ask a question, please do post a properly formulated one with all the relevant details. Otherwise, it's just an announcement and you should have used the project announcements forum. Should the staff move this thread?

Not sure about other people, but I was wondering if you actually wanted help for that "can never load other files on the drive" problem. Because no description of symptoms or anything has been added, I've assumed you're just announcing your project (and therefore I've shifted it to the "announcements" section).
For this forum, there's probably a few hundred people all working on a few hundred different OS projects. One more member with one more project is hardly rare; and (unless you provide details of your OS that people don't like) most people will go past an "announcement" without commenting.
I guess what I'm saying is that you're not getting many replies because your goals seem realistic. That's probably a good thing.
Cheers,
Brendan

I have 3 colors in my post.they are used sparingly.
This isn't a good place for os dev after all if 3 colors are such a HUUUUUGGE issue to you.
for crying out loud im trying to make an OS just like everyone else!!
i think i will look for a better website for this.
