virtualbox, windows NT 3.1, installing network

Have you ever installed windows NT on virtualbox and had problems installing NIC?
I cant do it. It wants me to configure irq and pio range, and i have no idea what NIC is using.
Help please, i really dont know what to do ;/

chose which NIC when you created your virtual machine, right? (And apparently, you didn't

the problem is windows sees it as amd 1500t not am97XXXX. where can i get this driver? i searched and cant find it.

I'm sure you'll find it right next to the Windows NT 3.1 drivers for 802.11n.

The instructions say that a pcnet driver is present on the 3.5 and 3.51 CDs of windows NT, others suggest trying to use the NT4 driver. I even found a (paywalled) download in 5 minutes.
Edit: found a free version of the driver, but I am not going to post a direct link for the simple reason that you should spend at least more time than I did. There is a broken link at

ok, do you maybe know how can i mount vdi files to copy a driver there?

Nevermind your facepalm fit the situation.
We can tell when you start to actually use google, is when you start asking more complicated questions, or are barely on here.
