Well, that certainly is an extensive article. Have you thought about posting this on the wiki? Our current SATA/AHCI article is more or less of a stub. Note that everyone with a forum account can get wiki permissions by just entering the wiki and looking for 'Joining'.

As stated, the Wiki would be a better place for this.. and please don't use colours on the forum, not everyone uses the same theme.
