About Mac OS design...

Post by f2 »

As I wrote somewhere on this forum, I develop my OS on Windows. But I'm fascinated by Mac OS. It is easy to use, its GUI is modern and beautiful, I like everything in this OS and my own OS (which I can not find a name that I like) is in part inspired by Mac OS. I have many questions about the architecture of Mac OS "Classic" (ie all versions before OS X). It is a monolithic kernel? A modular kernel? And how does the boot process?
