I have some questions, about Windows Neptune
first why can't it be run in a dual boot? i have win 2k istalled on HDa and on HDb win Neptune
and secondary..is this legal? cos it's abandonware but it's still windows so i wonder is it?
As it's based on win 2K would it have full support for programs who run without problems under win 2K.

It's still copyrighted. Microsoft could file suit. It's infringing on copyright law. Yipee.

Beats me, I don't have it cause that would be illegal.

See above.

Probably not, since it was to be released around the same time as Windows 2000, the kernel and such would not have been complete yet.

well..after some testing i learned the following
A) a dual boot is likely not functioning becouse if i have win 2K on disck one and neptune on disk 2, neptune complies about it that it's not running from disk C
B) When working with a USB stick it gives while copying the error that it can't read sth from the USB
C) i installed my graphics driver and after the reboot it ends up black
so i wonder...is it worth it? ok it's cool to have a windows wich is not released but with a standart grapics driver there's not much color on it...but it has something verry odd in it..it has an internet explorer 5.5

Uhhh, 5.5 was a regular release between 5.0 and 6.0.
