After reading this story in the news:
http://www.nowpublic.com/tech-biz/nasa- ... orne-virus
I was wondering what types of advantages hobbyist as well as non-mainstream operating systems might offer as a "feature"?
PS -- I'm not necessarily implying OS that haven't yet developed a TCP/IP stack. Moreso, how different implementations, algorithms and data structures(et all) might *prevent* infection / malware where mainstream OS like windows, MAC OS, and linux cannot.
.
If that made sense.
