I wonder if you guys here know this one..
http://www.kolibrios.org
I myself am working on it too now and then, i'm trying to rewrite the network stack now
Never saw a discussion about KolibriOS here, so i was wondering if you guys even know this project exists..
The biggest part of the 'community' is russian, so most parts of the forum are too btw.
Let me here what you think about this wonderfull OS
PS: I'm new to this forum

What makes it better than menuetOS? It just a fork, right?

It's a fork yes, but currently menuetos 32bit development is frozen.
KolibriOS has much more functionality then menuetos too.
For example we can read NTFS partitions, have a driver and library system (with sounddrivers, and soon network drivers) and much more
You'll just have to try it

I switched to KolibriOS since MenuetOS32 is frozen... (i use it for playing the games and playing with the assembler, cause of its easy API)
The minigames are realy nice - even if the randomizer of Pipes ist awfull... It is initialized by a constant value on startup
But there is one big thing I hate - nearly everything is in russian as default - So I'm unable to setup the OS, and its difficult to use tinypad
I hope that further releases are in english as default...
however - I like that OS - And I'm waiting for the next release.
btw: I learnd Assembly on Menuet

Nice to hear that,
The 'randomizer' in pipes is probably initiated by a constant so the game has the same levels every time you play?
Dont know..
As for everything being in russian,.. on our download page, you can download an english version too
The next release will be out when somebody takes the time to collect everything and make the new release,
that's the weirdest thing about this project... nobody takes the lead, so everybody just does what he wants to do whenever he wants to do it...
(Project Chaos would be a better name if you ask me
)

I think KolibriOS is much more than a menuet fork, its has been worked on by many top coders, the KolibriOS team go out of there way to help English speaking coders, but if they do not use the English part of the forum etc, what can the russian do.
Keep up the good work.
