Hi!
After a lot of work with IdyllaOS kernel I'm proud to present IdyllaOS 0.1-prealpha-02 :)

On LiveCD you can found:
* 32bit monolit kernel with loadable modules.
* Some core applications like ls, chmod, cat, etc.
* Very Simple SHell (vssh)
* GNU Bash 3.2
* GNU Binutils 2.17
* GNU Less 418
* libpng
* GNU make 3.81
* nasm 0.98.38
* GNU ncurses 5.6
* newlib 1.16.0
* GNU tar 1.20
* Very Simple GUI (vsgui) - only switch to mode 800x600x24 using Vesa 2.0
* zlib 1.2.3

TODO to version 0.1-alpha:
* Finish syslogd
* Fix bugs
* Finish tmpfs
* Fix more bugs ;)

Notes and known issues:
* Signals support is buggy (don't try kill process in kernel mode)
* In nano arrows keys won't works
* Loading applications from CD is slow (buffered input/output is not implemented yet)

Hi, I've really see potential in this operating system. It's really working! =D>
But there's one thing I didn't liked: the directories. /system/etc - what is that? Isn't it /etc?? Also the other directories are not good this way! It must be compatible with the other Unix-like operating systems [-o<

is must?
I personally like the new placement of system-critical/utilized files within the system folder. I would put the 'users' folder in the base/root directory though, it doesn't seem to belong in the system folder as it is a user folder.

great work, very stable and no issues on VPC2007.

[edit] fantastic compression ratio as well. =D> [/edit]
