how many left handers here..

i use lefthand for writing...

Why is it important? I'm right handed by the way.

When I was a teen I broke my right hand and/or right arm a couple of times. I learned to write with my left hand ok. I haven't practiced in a really long time but I can probably write left handed better than the average right handed person. What really sucked was that I also managed to break my left arm once at the same time as my right. Why do kids in school find it so funny to watch someone with two broken arms try to open a door?

Because it is funny. And cruel.

I'm write handed. But I can write with my left fine. I just can't throw accurately with my left.

That's pretty awesome. I broke my right hand once, and had to work with my left. (I'm right handed.) I can barely write with my right, so my left was pretty much illegible.

At one point I made an effort to 'train' my left hand, which, apparently, is possible if you just use it more and more. I got lazy, and more often than not, forgot I was doing it.

I just can't throw accurately with my left.

I can 'kind of' throw with my right, but with my left the ball just goes off to the side and...well, it's ugly.

I broke my right wrist once, but that didn't keep me from writing with it.

How do you guys brake so many bones?
I've never broken a bone in my life and I'm pretty sporty AND I'm uncoordinated....

I was running and tripped on my sneaker. I didn't realize it was broken until three days later when I noticed it was all swollen.

I broke my left elbow once... I can't join in on this conversation since it didn't really affect my writing (I'm right handed).

I'm left handed, but I use the computer mouse with my right hand
I never broke any of my bones.

I broke my right arm... but didn't make me switch writing hands.

I'm ambidextrous when it comes to baseball (pitching and batting) and ... guitar hero.

I have a dominant right. But on the table I hold the knife in the left and the fork in the right.

I once injured one finger joint on my right hand. I couldn't use the hand for 3 Weeks because of the bandage. The Hand was stinky and yellowish after that. But the one test from school I did not have to wrote compensated that.

Oh... and I use both hands to write this!

I've been taught to write with right, so I can't do that with left. With most other things I can use my left hand just as well as my right. It just depends on what you (forced to) learn to do with it.

I do however play the Wii left handed, much to my entertainment when somebody else forgets to change the setting and becomes extremely poor at playing golf

When I was a kid and attended kindergarten, my mom constantly tried to force me to use my right hand, but it was too difficult for me to use it, specially for drawing, and always switched back to use my left hand.

I think it had sort to do with some kind of envy from my other sister (just imagining... me being a newborn left handed boy must have caused some sort of resentment given what is said about left handed people, which tend to see the world in a "different" way...).
