Food poisoning
Food poisoning
I got food poisoning from the prawns I ate at lunch....
Fell horrible...
Lesson: NEVER eat ANYTHING cooked by your dad.
I've been vomiting for the last hour..., not feeling so good...

Re: Food poisoning
Or how about: "Never eat questionable prawns"?
Maybe the prawns were bad when your dad bought them.

Re: Food poisoning
If you cook anything long enough, you shouldn't get 75% of today's common foodborne illnesses. And clean hands is a must
Note to myself: always look at the expiry dates. I once ate a yogurt 3 days after the expiry and I 'did write a letter Dear Diarea'. But vomitting? Eh, can't remember that one. My stomach is steely, it'll process almost all

Re: Food poisoning
Already feeling better.
I drank loads of water, thanks for the tip (and I slept loads, but I didn't need to be told that )
Th prawns might of been bad when my dad bought them, but it's funner to blame him....
By the way inflater do you mean 'should'?

Re: Food poisoning
With that sentence I meant that if you cook something "long enough", there'll be less (harmful) bacteria in it, unlike in no-cooked or even undercooked (aka in fast-foods)If you cook anything long enough, you shouldn't get 75% of today's common foodborne illnesses.

Re: Food poisoning
Cooking only eliminates 75% of bacteria?
I thought it would be higher....
Sorry by the way, I didn't read the sentence properly and it confused me...

Re: Food poisoning
Hmmm... As the old news say, a company named Maple Leaf distributed meat with listeria, 15 cases of death and 29 sicknesses reported. Wiki says that the possible infection of the meat was during packaging and also, the number of contaminated will rise in the upcoming weeks.
Maybe Maple Leaf should review again the meat packaging process after the detox I know it's too late but still. Many folks in Chicago remember Tylenol in 80's eh?
On the other side, these cases would reduce if these fast food chains would cook the meat correctly and long enough. That's why I prefer home cooked food, or in a good restaurant. Not these mcdonalds and stuff, but if I really must have these french fries, I order them with ketchup or just "bare" and add ingredients to them at home. Especially when you combine hot summer, a pipi gril trailer and e.g. tartar sauce... great diarrhea afternoon. No offence against fast food chains, I'm always prone to the good smell of grilled chicken with fries, but I take care what I eat and drink.
