kernel parameter reboot=BIOS option

hi all,

What will happen when system reboots with the option reboot=bios in kernel parameters?

Surely YOU define what your kernel does when certain parameters are set?

In the grub's kernel parameter there is an option for reboot mode.
reboot=warm
reboot=bios
reboot=cold. Likewise if i set reboot=BIOS mode in grub's kernel statement, what will the difference of the normal system reboot and the above specified reboot mode.

On some machines, rebooting will crash, you can try this kernel parameter.

To fix for crash issue alone the reboot=bios will be used?
