You know you're a geek when...
You try to justify everything you do by calling yourself a geek.

You have dreams about writing assembly in Vim, assembling it with fasm, then running it in Bochs.

I would say geeks are born, i myself am not a geek because i find coding, OS Dev, writing posts etc, very hard, as i am not a natural.
Give me a set of tools and i will build you anything in metal, wood, plastic etc.
But as for academic stuff, i am no good.
But i once set myself a challenge to code a simple OS and now i must complete the challenge, or my OS will finish with the 100 of other half finished hobby OS's.
I wish i was a geek like the rest of you, i wish i had done well at school, and gone on to univ, and then i would not have to try so hard.
So i am prof that even none geeks, can make half finished OS, if they keep at it.

I've had that issue with every game I've played for the past 6 years, including Crysis...
Also, when you build your own Linux distribution without Linux From Scratch or even CoreLinux.
