Recently I posted a topic where I was looking to join a OS project. Someone mentioned that I should learn more about osdev before joining someone else's project. Thats good advice, so I'm going to take it.
I'm starting a OS project called SaturnOS. I will use this project to learn more about OSdev, and will be my full time project. I'm currently working on the details of the project, which I will post soon.
The project will be hosted at Launchpad: https://launchpad.net/saturnos
SaturnOS
Small update:
I've moved the project over to Sourceforge. Heres the link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/saturnkos/. I've also finished writing out some details about the project and have begun writing a plan with those details which I should finish sometime this week.[/list]

Re: SaturnOS
Months ago when I started the project, I foolishly thought that it would be easy to write an operating system. Boy was I wrong. These past few months have been made up of me studying more about OS dev and C. After studying for the past few months, I feel confident that I can begin putting together an OS.
I have written any code for it yet; that will be starting in a day or two. The name will remain the same. I'll post more updates when i can.
