Does anyone know any operating system that has the same level with MikeOS which is built for educational purpose...I want to understand the basic step in developing operating system using that OS.....

I wrote MiniDos as a OS dev tut, its a Dos clone which can load and run some old Dos games, but is less than 2k in size.

PS: You are free to do with it what you want, the idea is for all user to add another Dos function.
