Google Earth (guess the city)
I don't know how many of you don't know about Google Earth - it's basically a 3D front end for Google Maps. Anyway, I haven't played with it for around 2 years, so I downloaded the latest copy and some of the changes I were surprised to see were:
- More cities support 3D buildings. Most cities aren't complete and only have a few buildings (I think most buildings would be user-generated content).
- Buildings are textured!
- A lot more of the earth is covered by higher-resolution images.
- Now comes a built in flight simulator (activated by pressing CTRL+ALT+A).
I've taken a screenshot of a city from within the flight simulator. See if you can guess which city it is! It'll be hard for most of you. I know at least two people on this forum will get it straight away.

For the benefit of the others, my guess was on Frankfurt / Main, Germany.MessiahAndrw wrote:Sorry, although the city's you mentioned skyline does look surprisingly similar.Solar wrote:If my guess is correct, I am one of the two, and the picture sucks royally.
Every good solution is obvious once you've found it.
