Duh... because phones don't have unlimited resources and a VM environment allows them to control what does what.

Ah MessiahAndrw, did you miss his previous, err, "job openings" for the FreeVista project? It's for people who hate vista to collaborate to write a new OS. That is Free. And just like Vista.

First of all, This is a perfect example of not asking a question the Smart Way.

Cell phone manufactures typically dislike 3rd parties running native code on their hardware...

Apple plans on releasing a native SDK, but I think it'll require developers to "register" and "sign" their applications with a unique key.. (I could be wrong..)

Anyway, Please refrain from posting the same question repetitively..
