OS X Leopard release date?
OS X Leopard release date?
i was just curious, im planning to get an iMac but i want to know when Leopard is released so i can work out when to get it, etc. I know that Tiger comes with all Mac computers now, but id like to know when Leopard will be released. if anyone has any information on this it would be a big help. thanks!

I don't think anyone outside of Apple has reliable information, but given Apple's usual habit of releasing things at the very end of the announced month, I'd say it will be released on or around October 31st. 
Top three reasons why my OS project died:
- Too much overtime at work
- Got married
- My brain got stuck in an infinite loop while trying to design the memory manager

Hint: Don't get a machine when Leopard is brand-new. Wait until they fix the nasties, then buy Leopard.
