Starting large Open Source OS! Large Project! Help!

Hi, I'm brand new here, and I'm not a ASM developer. But I am a coder. I know Java and PHP as well as some Ruby (and RoR). I am efficient in XHTML and CSS, but that doesn't matter. I own orbun.com as well which I am working on at the moment.
I want to build an Operating System, but its not like any operating system to date. It will be super simple. I know I sound like a fool when I say this, but you have to take my word for it, this is revolutionary.
I will not give out any more information, unless you contact me.
I am looking for some developers to make a super simple OS. It will need mouse and keyboard support for v1, and it may get a bit more advanced later on. As I said, this will be a big project.
If you are interested, and want to develop on a particular architecture, we can work with it. The development team will play a huge role in this project, and their opinions will basically build this OS.
This project will build the basis of a company, and trust me, I know marketing inside and out.
I am looking for developers with experience in the field. New developers may be welcome as well, depending on what they can do.
Please contact me.
If you are interested in this project in anyway, please contact me with the following info:

You know... You won't write an OS using PHP or CSS... A little amount of Assembler IS required. You also need to know some HLL like C/C++ or Pascal.
I think nobody will want to support you if you don't program a bit on your own first. You should begin the project on your own and then...

I'm not programming on this. I was just giving you some information about me. I am looking for people that would be interested in working on a revolutionary operating system.
I'll be looking for a whole development team.
I will want someone to assume the position of project manager, front end coder, etc. This is the first place I have contacted about the jobs.
And trust me, I know you cannot code an operating system in PHP.

All NDA's do is make it so you can go to an other big company, give out my secrets, and make some big bucks on it.
If you really have problems with signing NDA's, I will be happy to waive them.
So bryan, I'll fill you in if you IM me back.

We are, and we are already working on some

Suffice to say that most people don't bother to read

He was pointing out the "Community Projects" Section, not the "Commercial OSDev" section.

Is anyone interested in helping. Or do I have to offer paid positions?

No indeed. You first need to write it in HTML then build PHP on top of that.

if we for a moment consider that this is actually a serious project and im a real proffesioAnal asm/c/c++ coder, i would need a hell of alot more info about the project, the: "new full revolutionary, simple, fast, cool, BEST EVER os" just desnt cut it.
it is like me aplying for a job at microsukcs:" hey, i dont know what you actually do around here, i dont know a thing about computer and stuff, but i have all these great ideas, so surely im the perfect man for whatever jobposition you might have to offer"
And i do not mean to be disrespectfull, i hope you are serious, have thought it through, and have load of revolutionary great ideas, but if that is the case, you have to do a hell of alot of a better job selling it to others.
Regards

OMFG!!!! I can't stop laughing...

At least you know...
Ok, now thats out of my system. This is what your looking to do. No offense, but you lack the skills needed to develop an OS.
It sounds like you are a venture capitalist. You should build a linux (or BSD) distro, that would be more up your ally in what you are trying to achieve. Or, even better, jump on board with the syllable project (syllable.org), they too seem to be trying to create a completely new desktop OS. Best of luck to you.

I've got a revolutionary idea for a new operating system. I just type in a phrase, and the computer will find the file containing that phrase for me in a matter of milliseconds. The coding will be so tight that it will turn a PC into a Cray, and use a fraction of the power. Of course I haven't a clue how this revolutionary new OS could be coded, but I am sure somebody else will figure out that minor detail for me.

guys, stop ....
we all made the same mistake, we all thought we could write a Os very fast and easy, actually it isn't so easy and it takes a lot of work, yes but everyone has to learn this by himself!!
btw, does anyone of you have already a real working operating system
?
@ the topic starter, your description is very inprecise and I think nobody is goint to join your project without some concrete information, so don't talk about developing a super os, or something else, tell us the facts, and how you think it could work, and first of all try to code some lines on your own before hiring others.

What do ya mean by "working"? lol
I have an OS with a shell and (kindof) virtual consoles....the bad thing is I was still learning C while I wrote it, so the code is almost unreadable...much less extendable..
