Ok, well I stumbled upon a new find
appearantly, it is illegal to put up the number
Code: Select all
09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0
under the mpaa (or somehting like that) it is the DVD-HD encryption key for nearly every movie to date...why they used the same key is beyond me, but It is illegal to say it, write it, read it..
lol..this really reminds me of a book I read called "Anthem"
(btw, how do ya like my sig?)

That's like M$ copyrighting MBR entries...

Same key sounds pretty insecure, once you hack one you can hack them all...

though I don't agree with it, I could see something like copyrighting FAT, but wow...it's just a static set of hex numbers!
I prefer to just call some people stupid...

Don't you read slashdot? There have been several stories on it in the past few months or so.
@Kevin: Do you mean
Illegal Primes?
Good stuff to read.
