Yeah, I know of him but I haven't seen him post in a while. Seems he's also from Bucharest. I'm from Drobeta Turnu-Severin (as my Location thingamajig says) but studying in Timisoara. I might come to Bucharest next week, though

I don't understand a word you said Inflater, but Slovak is a nice language to listen to. I think Greek has a natural sound to it since it doesn't sound like a foreign language, though I also don't understand a word of it (maybe I spoke it in a past life ).

I grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and I was exposed to several different varieties of my accent.

People who lived in the outer suburbs or outside of the city generally talked with a broad accent (think Steve Irwin) which is probably the most stereotyped Australian accent there is, it's also hard to understand (even for native Australian speakers) because there are a lot of sounds dropped or rhyming that really shouldn't be and generally sounds unclean. By far the majority of people in the area I live either speak General Australian (like the majority of Australian media) or Cultivated Australian (similar to an educated British accent). There were also ethnic accents (most commonly spoken by the Italian-Australian youth, those who purposely speak this way are known by the derogatory term "wog" - think Fat Pizza or Wog Boy).

I'm wondering what people think of Australians in general (either other native English speakers, but I'm also curious of a non-native English speaker's perspective) and we're hard to understand (no one I've met from outside of Australia have asked me to repeat myself, so they should be a good thing, unless they're just being polite). I'm willing to say a few lines if you want.

I've never met an Australian, so I don't have opinions about their person, but in general, I don't have a problem with their accent. Steve (may he rest in peace) is still rather understandable, as long as he doesn't use too many slang phrases.
