Sadly the US Coast Guard wasn't amused; they deported the 12 Cubans on the truck back to Cuba and sank the truck..

D*mn I hate my government... anyone with the balls and brains to pull this off should have been let in, no questions asked.

Those Cubans would definitely do well on Junkyard Wars. My hat (if I wore one) is off to these guys. However, I can't imagine wanting to leave Cuba, as it is the last place on Earth where there isn't a goddamned McDonald's across the street from a Starbuck's.
